Motherhood and life require a lot of energy, strength, and flexibility. I love helping women feel their best so they can do LIFE better.
Hi, I’m Danielle!
I’m a Physical Therapist who specializes in women’s pelvic health and orthopedic physical therapy. I attended University of Nebraska - Lincoln and studied Speech and Language Arts prior to transferring to University of Nebraska Medical Center where I graduated with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012. I have completed advanced post-graduate training coursework in women’s pelvic therapy and am also a certified Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist.
If you had asked me 8 years ago if I would ever be working specifically with vaginas, I would’ve said “No way!” But after the birth of my 1st child, in which a cesarean section was needed, I found out that there was little information given to women about how to recover from this surgery. Breathe Physical Therapy and Wellness was started in 2022 to help women learn to move well and feel better during pregnancy, postpartum and beyond. I take a whole-body approach to treating not only your physical body, but also acknowledging how the mental and emotional aspects of life all tie together. I will work with you and your lifestyle, setting you up with a routine that works for your life, whether that be 5-10 minutes of daily movement or longer workout programs. I know women today have a lot on our plates and I want to find a way to help that’s best going to serve you!
I live on a farm near Holstein, Nebraska with my husband, 3 children, and a crazy bunch of farm animals, including dogs, cows, sheep, goats, chickens, and turkeys. I understand how women need flexibility in their schedules, which is why Breathe offers a variety of ways to work together to meet your goals.
Schedule a discovery call to get started.
