This is all the information I wish I had after all 4 of my own cesarean sections as well as the information I would give my clients as a pelvic floor physical therapist as they recover.

The guide is designed for mamas who are going to have a scheduled cesarean section or had an unexpected c-section. It is targeted for those 1 day to 6 months post c-section and can still be beneficial even if you’ve had a prior c-section.

You’ll learn how to manage pain and inflammation, incision care, how to move right after cesarean section and 6 weeks of light mobility exercises to help with pain and learning how to reconnect to your core.

You will feel prepared, confident and with less pain and feeling helpless.

My goal for this guide is to provide the same information that I would give in a session if you were to come see me for urinary incontinence. You will learn about the anatomy of the core and urinary systems, what is normal vs abnormal urination, possible causes of your urinary incontinence and several ways to treat urinary incontinence.

I realize that there are many barriers to going to in-person pelvic floor therapy, including lack of local providers, increased waiting times, insurance or monetary concerns, or shame/embarrassment. I wrote this guide to help address those barriers to minimize the “commonness” of urinary incontinence.

Let me help you navigate this journey!
